Global "Giving Tuesday" is November 29, 2016
Your Donation Will Give Help & Hope Through Youth and HIV/AIDS Services
South Side Help Center provides in-school and out-of-school services to mentor, educate and feed boys and girls from violence prevention to building camaraderie and self-esteem. Medical case management and Outreach workers help negate the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS – which is STILL highest in Chicago’s Black community. Our staff of professionals provide direction and care for community youth and adults - at no charge!.
As a global movement, #GivingTuesday helps charitable organizations build capacity to care for the communities they serve and empower one another. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources. PLEASE – prepare to make your BEST donation to South Side Help Center on Tuesday November 29…and spread the word! It is Needed – and Appreciated!
